Note: What we sow, we reap. Jacob deceived his father and was unfair to his brother. So we see him going out to look for a wife when he is about seventy-eight years old. He agreed on a price for a wife only to be deceived into marrying her sister.

15. How did Jacob appeal to Esau? Genesis 32:3-5.
16. What message did Jacob receive, and how did it affect him? Genesis 32:6-8.
