Preview: The Devil has a mission to destroy God’s Church.

Scripture Reading: I Corinthians 3:10-17.

Memory Verse: I Corinthians 6:19.

1. How precious are the bodies of God’s children according to the foregoing Scriptures?
2. Did Christ purchase us as children of the Kingdom? I Corinthians 6:20 & I Corinthians 7:22-24.
3. What was the price? I Peter 1:18-20 & Galatians 3:13-14.
4. Are all of us wicked until we accept Christ as Lord and Savior? Jeremiah 17:9, Romans 7:18, Romans 8:5 & Romans 8:8.
Note: Although God created man in His own image and for His own glory (Genesis 1:27), man in his natural state is sinful. He must choose to glorify God before he can be adopted into the Kingdom (the Body of Christ).
5. How did Paul describe those who know the Law but will not accept the Lawgiver as Lord? Romans 7:19-24.
6. How does one escape the snares of Satan? Romans 8:1-4.
Note: Christ Jesus, through His own example of life and death, made the only way of escape.
7. What is our part in receiving salvation? Romans 6:11-13, Romans 6:19 & Romans 12:1.
8. Is there ever a point in our lives when we can become self-sufficient or complacent? I Corinthians 9:27.
9. Why is Satan so determined to defile and destroy our bodies? I Corinthians 6:15.
Note: The Devil hates Christ and will do all that he can to defeat Him. When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior we become members of the Body of Christ. If Satan can defeat us, he strikes a blow against God and His Son.
10. What is one of the most prevalent sins that man is tempted to commit? I Corinthians 6:13-18.
Note: Fornication is so commonplace and acceptable in today’s society that many churches and spiritual leaders accept it as normal. It is still a devastating sin against one’s own body, which is God’s Temple. It also destroys the spiritual body which is the Body of Christ.
